Centerpiece Inspiration

While browsing through blogs, I came across Jason and Allyson's wedding at Melissa Jill Photography. Aside from it being an incredibly beautiful wedding, I found these to-die-for centerpiece arrangements:

This is almost exactly as I have imagined/wanted mine to be. I just lacked a picture or way of describing them. 1) I adore pearls... love them... am infatuated with them. 2) I wanted small, tight flower arrangements. 3) I wanted tall, simple and delicate candle holders.

This is perfect! I would change the flowers to green, and lose the black and white accents to compliment my own wedding colors. Other than that... this is perfection!

Photo Booth

I so want a photo booth at our wedding.  I've wanted one for years.  I heart photo booths so much.  I'm thinking about doing it instead of favors.  I saw one once at a dinner party and they had customized borders and everyone was having such a good time with them.

I found this site, Peekaboo Photo Booth, and its actually pretty reasonably priced.  How fun would it be to have some props (i.e. dry erase boards for messages, silly hats, etc.)!  Even better, the guests can take home a pic as a favor, and the bride and groom get a copy of all the pics taken for a scrapbook!

Has anyone used one of these before?  Would you like this in lieu of a favor at a reception???

Reception Music

Alright, lets try this again... I'm compiling a list of music and need YOUR help!

What is/was your special song?
What is your favorite song to dance to?
What song(s) is(are) a definite "do?"
What songs should we avoid?

In my eyes, music sets the ambiance.  BAD MUSIC = NO FUN.  Being the disorganized perfectionist that I am (yes, everything should just "happen" as I envision it with minimal effort!), I'm trying my best to stay on top of things.  Click the comments link below to leave your suggestions!  (I think it asks for a profile or something, just put anonymous, your name, etc.)

Happy music hunting!

So cute!!!

Okay, so it may be a little corny to some people, but it is so "me." I want these scattered around with the centerpieces. I think they would reflect light and look gorgeous surrounded by candles.

If only I could find many different shapes and sizes of white ceramic birds. I also found this vase:

I've been scouring Etsy. If you've never checked it out, you really should. They have everything from handcrafted jewelry, hair pieces, to wedding decor, and even aprons! I like the personal touch and uniqueness it would add to a wedding. I do I envy the people who make the things on there, if only had the time (ha! who am I kidding?!? the ability!) to make these things.

Reception Site

So, this is the space we have reserved for the reception site:

I'm not sure how everything will be set up yet, but we intend to utilize the outside as much as possible (keeping our fingers crossed for great weather.) You can't see it in the photos, but you can (barely) see Cinderella's Castle from the patio and the monorail passes nearby. It is very "Disney," but still elegant and beautiful. If it does choose to rain (again, crossing our fingers), we have something similar to this as a back-up space:

Not entirely my style, but again... just a back-up. It's also very near to the patio, so we could still utilize that space if the rain lets up. The biggest dilemma is that the outdoor space really needs minimal decorations, it's beautiful without any needing any "extras." I have to try to find an option though, that could dress-up this room, just in case we are left eating here. I'd like to remove the "Victorian Prison-like" feeling it exudes.
