Photo Booth

I so want a photo booth at our wedding.  I've wanted one for years.  I heart photo booths so much.  I'm thinking about doing it instead of favors.  I saw one once at a dinner party and they had customized borders and everyone was having such a good time with them.

I found this site, Peekaboo Photo Booth, and its actually pretty reasonably priced.  How fun would it be to have some props (i.e. dry erase boards for messages, silly hats, etc.)!  Even better, the guests can take home a pic as a favor, and the bride and groom get a copy of all the pics taken for a scrapbook!

Has anyone used one of these before?  Would you like this in lieu of a favor at a reception???

I LOVE the idea of having a photo booth! We were set on having one until we decided on a destination wedding. It's definitely the main thing I'll be sad about not having. I would be thrilled to be a guest at a wedding with a photo booth! The pictures would make awesome keepsakes plus imagine all the fun everyone would have :)

I want a photo booth too! I think having one would be so much fun, especially with props. I might be bias, but I think having a photo booth is way better than a favor.

That's an awesome idea! If we had the room for it, I would definitely book it right now.

I LOVE the idea, but $650 would break the budget!! haha

Yes, $650 is more than the usual expenditure on favors. :)

I'm looking at is as a gift for myself as well, and it is much cheaper than I had anticipated!

I want it, I want it, I want it!!! Poor Frank will not hear the end of this one until I get it. I guess it is just his fault for spoiling me so much. ;)

I want to have a photo booth too. I just love it. I know our guest will have lots of fun. But I am doing it by "myself". We have the equipment for that. The guest just can print the pictures right away.

I love photobooths! I haven't used one, but I think it is a fun favor. I just worked on a Weddingbee wiki on it:

It has really helpful ideas!

I love the idea! Could you make double prints, one for you and one for the guests to take home? I would much rather have fun photo memories than a silly favor I won't use. :)

Jenn -

Yes, they give the guest one copy and the bride and groom another copy. Even better, they can provide (its a small extra cost) supplies and the guest can glue their pics into a scrapbook and leave little messages! For another semi-small fee, you can have the photos available online for a bit to download. Its brilliant!

Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely check it out!!!

I love photo booths! I was thinking of doing a DIY photo booth (only because $$ is tight). You should go for it!

By the way... tagged you on my blog!

I think it's a great idea and I would definitely love to have that as a favor!!

The first wedding that my hubby and I went to after our wedding had a caricature artist there doing caricatures of everyone for free and I absolutely loved it!!! Hubby and I got the cutest pick I'll post it on my blog at some point!

i really want to have a photobooth and provide fun props (hats, boas, mustaches). when photobooth photos are featured on blogs they always look like so much fun. and it's such a great keepsake.
